On Thursday, September 21, the National Convenience Distributors family of vendors, retailers and teammates came together for the Fall 2023 Trade Show at Harrah’s Resort and Casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The event garnered over 1,100 customers, all of whom were excited to “rake” in the savings on the exclusive deals of nearly 300 presenting vendors. But the best of all? The Spin to Win Wheel helped to generate the highest level of customer engagement experienced by the NCD trade show series.
For one hour, the line of contest participants stretched from the back of the venue, down the trade show aisles and out to the front doors of the ballroom. With countless prizes to choose from, including NCD merch, an all-inclusive trip, discounts off trade show orders, Visa gift cards, gift certificates to popular stores and restaurants, and technology and games, all participants walked away as winners. Both G & R Stationery of Middle Village, New York and Joppa Market of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts secured the two grand prizes!
Additionally, the show’s central hub featured NCD’s mobile ordering technology and proprietary foodservice offerings. The improved Uncle Ed’s Bakery and Craft House booth showcased the in-demand Uncle Ed’s spinner rack for trail mixes and candies, as well as Craft House’s new premium items, while the “NCD Spotlight” displayed fully merchandised c-store aisles, premium cigars, an Island Coffee bar, and hot and fresh Mighty Chicken and My Pie items.
